Him And Her- Edward Hamilton |

Their paths crossed, They never looked back.
The world - their canvas, their love - their palette. Many were the times they found themselves in those perfect moments together. They had love, they had health, they had peace and they had joy. With their little package they felt invincible, in control, in charge and so high. Both happy to share each others baggage on each others journey. It felt like the universe had created the most intense and electrifying feeling to be shared between one man, and one woman. From the dizzying heights of their multi-colored vibe, in its pleasure and its euphoric sensation of being in beautiful love, to the physical, mental, and the spiritual connection these young souls had. She would wake in the early hours of the morning feeling his presence. She feels him beat inside of her. She glances at his side of the bed and misses the sight of him. Her mind would reminisce times they had together and she would smile and sigh after every mental episode. She craves his attention and love, and can not wait to be in his arms once again. She walks through the silent house feeling his energy in every room she walked into. She whispers his name as she closes her eyes for a short moment and pictures his smile. She would walk towards the mirror at the end of the hall and would be overcome by an eclectic mix of emotions as she would stare at the dried up sunflower that lay on the table next to a photo taken of them by the sea. She picks up the photo and looks at the expression on their faces. They looked in peace and in love. She smiles but feels weak and as she looks at the clock on the wall, she decides to head back in the comfort of her bed, waiting patiently for her lover to return. Her energy would touch him and make him feel alive. He can feel her thinking about him. He would yearn and long to see his soul mate as he prepares to meet with her. He can not wait and he knows that she needed him more than ever that day. He would sacrifice his all to be with her. He closes his eyes and focuses his energy and love towards her as he tries to picture her lying in their bed. He would remember the day they met and would think about the words she told him. The promises and the love they exchanged and the way she made him feel. Her love was pure and it was hard for him to imagine a life without her. He loved her welcoming smile as she would spring out the door with arms wide open for that first hug, for that first kiss. Every hug and kiss had the first time feel to it and that was something that they both knew and never took for granted. As he laid his hands upon her shoulders, he looks deeply into her eyes and gets lost in a world of love and peace and opportunities and events he only dreamed of experiencing. His mind wonders off into questioning “why me?” But those moments were short lived, as she would whisper the words he‘d long to hear. All doubts and fears were soon forgotten and he would recognize how blessed he was to have found such a soul. He would hug her hard and strong until he felt her beat inside of him, and him in her. Hours on end, positive love, not having to do anything, but just be. They were one. As they both enveloped in a hug late at night just before laying down, he would whisper softly “Isn’t it beautiful?” |
