Who can change Destiny?

 - Purushottam Agarwal

Pg   1   2

“To cut short the long story I tell you just the gist. Tomorrow they are inviting the florist onthe  meal and then they will poison him. This they will ensure that the poison becomes effective after few days and not immediately so that no body suspects their ill designs. … … I have seen that boy and feel extremely sorry for his fate.”

“Yes, I can understand your sorrow but what can we do? So better forget it as a nightmare. I am also very sorry and disapprove such contemptible plan.”

“If some how somebody traces down boy’s real identity then probably he could be saved. I am sure the Princess will also end her life when she comes to know the cause of her lover’s death.”

The saint meditated on the issue and decided to try to avoid the mishap. He found out by his Yogic powers that the boy, named Kunal, was not a prince though he belonged to a royal family. He therefore thought to approach the King and persuade him to abandon his design. But the King did not budge from his stand. Then this saint approached the boy Kunal. He said that he is not afraid of death and would prefer to die instead of betraying his beloved.

The boy Kunal reached the Palace to participate in the feast. It was a superb feast with so many dishes. In the end sweet dish was served. The poison was in this dish. Due to some confusion the dishes got mixed up and the dish which was to be served to Kunal went to the King. As should have been the result, the King died after a few days.

On the death of the King, the Queen married the Princess to Kunal as she thought it could be the only measure to please her bereaved daughter. The marriage took place after a month from the King’s death. On marrying the Princess Kunal descended the throne, as the King did not have any son to succeed him.

Some people said that the all events were manipulated by Saint’s yogic powers. And some questioned if anybody could change destiny. Whatsoever might have been the reasons, destiny was certainly one !!
