A VIEW OF LIFE

- S.B.Agarwal

Man tries hard and often in vain,

While seeking pleasure, arrives at pain.

Be content with what is destined,

Let the loss of others not be your gain.

Material gains and amassed wealth,

No use if at the cost of one's health.

Let us nourish both Body and Mind,

Before the clock of life strikes Twelfth.

Life is like a beautiful flower,

Let it blossom like a fragrance-shower.

So that both the life and living,

Be one's sublime need of the hour.

Ask the question -What is life's aim?

No precise answer! though many may claim,

Only those who ponder deep,

Are grateful to God, never Him blame.
