Natural beauty scattered on many a land,
Mountain peaks and clouds hand in hand -
Playing in still lake-water reflection,
Fills the heart with poetic imagination.
Sun-shine in valleys and on hilly slope,
Which the envious clouds can not cope,
Vast green spread of grass and pine trees,
Silently sing with the whispering breeze.
Grazing of colourful cows and sheeps,
Makes a sound of silence quietly creep--
Into the deeper layers of heart and mind,
Which all the possessions can never find.
Serpentine, meandering roads passing--
Through thick forests and waist of hills
Looks like a cheap ornament put on--
A beautiful bride which she never wills.
Hills, trees, rivers, water-falls and lake,
Nature's wonderful gift for man they make,
Enjoying without exploiting and protecting Nature,
Will raise the Man high in humane stature.
