Flower & Man |
|
- S.B.Agarwal (this poem was penned while visiting Scotland) |
World is like a beautiful garden,
![]() Full of thorny and flowery plants. A flower is likely to fall soon, With a satisfied life and zero wants. On the horizon of life and death, Soon rises a new tiny lovely breath, Blissfully this birth will be its last, And will not be reborn as in the past. On the plant, it wished many a thing, Live for ever or be in God’s garland, Come under feet of patriot soldiers, Or go with a pious pyre in the end. The fall may be unknown and unwept, But the mother earth will readily kiss, Whether it matters for any one or not, But the sorrowful bees will surely miss. |
