Cheese Cake

- Neeshant Srivastava

Two people together,
Standing in air,
Two corners meet in the sun,
Wonder like in shorts and skirts,
The world twice their size,
Who'll go first?,
Thought she loved him,
Lunches draped in earthly colors,
Sweet dinner is on their minds,
Dessert takes over meals,
Cheese cakes with cherries,
Is romance,
Toast with fizzy Chardonnay,
Thought she loved him,
His first little heart beat,
"Marry me, my lady",
Three years hence, in seperate rooms,
With romance in the refrigerator,
He desperate wants out, hungry, tired,
While she plans her dream home.
