Arriving in Wells |
- Anupma |
|
Royal Tunbridge Wells, when I heard the name for the first time I really could not believe it was a town. To me it sounded more like a tourist spot. So here I came with a picture in my mind of a place with cluster of wells. But as we drove in and I got the first glimpse of this picture post card settlement nestled in small hills. It truly was a surprise a very pleasant one at that. Small cottage like homes with lots of greens seemed like the perfect place. No high rises, no honking, no sea of people God was this for real?? I was eager to explore the place and as I walked around I noticed the amazing number of Gardens and Forests all in the heart of the town. You could just escape and be with yourself within ten minutes walk! I think this is what impressed me most. The amount of nature one could enjoy at any time.
My day was coming to an end as I walked back enjoying the fragrance of autumn and the crisp air. For me it was love at first sight and I felt euphoric !! |
